Retirement Communities whose parent organization is The Adult Care Group,
Inc. This dynamic organization and its subsidiaries is owned
and operated by the Piazza family, under the leadership of
founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, John J.
Piazza, Sr.
The corporate headquarters are in Largo, Florida. |

The family tradition of providing accommodations, services
and compassionate care began in 1950 when Dr. S. J. Piazza,
began a medical practice in rural western New York. A true
pioneer in the medical field, Dr. Piazza established one of
the first privately owned and physician operated hospitals
in New York state. |
John J. Piazza Sr.’s vision, plus his desire to continue his
father’s legacy of quality care and services, led him to
create the company’s first retirement community in Lockport,
NY in 1965. Over the next five years, in response to the
increased demand for innovative senior housing, the company
opened four additional properties in western New York. |
In 1975, the company relocated its headquarters to the west
coast of Florida to pursue plans for expansion. Creative
vision and a dedicated team of professionals have grown the
company into one of the largest providers of accommodations
and services to the country’s 55+ population. |
Today,
the organization provides a variety of housing,
services and care to a diverse population of
active adults. Financial stability,
corporate support and substantial resources
